"Silver's Spotlight" : Bobby Fadden

With WPIAL playoffs en route, our player spotlight continues to showcase a player who we believe is one of the top competitors in Western, PA! Bobby Fadden was a no-brainer as he continues to take Mohawk steps closer to the WPIAL Championship!

Fadden is leading the way for the Mohawk, averaging 22ppg, 5rpg, and 3rpg. These statistics have been crucial to a lot of Mohawk's success.

Bobby offensive efforts have been huge this season and postseason as Mohawk now moves onto the WPIAL Semi-Finals to face #2 South Allegheny this Tuesday. Mohawk has already taken home two big playoff wins against Waynesburg Central and Southmoreland. This goes without saying, but we are expecting a large performance from Fadden in efforts to keep the dream of a WPIAL Championship alive.

In addition to high school basketball, Fadden has been an absolute monster out on the concrete in the Summer at the CJ2K League! Fadden took home the Offensive Player of the Year award last Summer, showing off his impressive versatility and three-level scoring package. Fadden was also an All-Star (For obvious reasons!).

We asked Bobby a few questions to highlight her basketball career thus far.

What has this season meant to you and what are your personal and team goals?

"Well, our goals were to win a section title, WPIAL title, and a State title at the start of the season. We fell short of the section title, but we sure are battling right now for a trip to Pittsburgh."

What are your current plans after graduation?

"I plan to play college basketball or college football after high school."

Why have you played several years in the CJ2K?

"I play in the CJ2K to have fun hooping and to work on my craft in a different environment."
